Wyclef's new mom sent an update in January 2008:

My boyfriend and I adopted a dog from All Dog Rescue back in February. His name was Strauss and we renamed him Wyclef:) Erica was his foster mom and we had such a wonderful experience overall from his adoption. He has turned out to be such a loving member of our family, we truly adore him and he has brought much joy to our lives.

Wyclef's new mom writes:

We are very happy with making Wyclef part of our family, he has been a great addition. He has a lot of energy and loves to be around people. We have found that he likes to follow you all around the house and never likes to be alone. We have also realized that he may be an acrobatic dog as we just bought a 3 1/2 foot baby gate for the downstairs and he has mastered hopping over it!! He does well in the obdiendence classes and is an extremely smart dog. He's very affectionate and we absolutely adore him.
