The photo above is a picture of Shelby and her new mom on their first night together! Shelby has settled in to her new forever home nicely, and her mom says she is nothing but sweet, sweet, sweet! She has discovered how much fun it is to play chase and fetch with a mini-tennis ball; that is her favorite game. At first she was a little nervous about the elevator in her building, but now she is an old pro and eagerly runs in for the chance to sniff around for new and interesting smells.

Shelby's mom says that Shelby loves everyone she meets. She writes, "If we are out on a walk, and she sees someone nearby, she will scrunch and pull forward and wiggle her little butt as fast as she can in hopes of meeting up with a new friend. It is very cute!" Shelby is very smart and is learning to sit and also not to beg at the table; she will surely be a star pupil in the obedience classes she will be starting soon!
