- Finding Life-Long Homes for Rescued Dogs -
Mia's new mom writes:
Mia has been an absolute joy! She was a tiny 3 month old lab/terrier mix when she came to live with us and now is 8 months, over
50 pounds and growing. We expereinced the normal crate training challenges with many accidents on the floor and trips home from work
at lunch to let her out until she was 6 months old but otherwise she has been a relatively easy addition to our family.
She also sent in an illustrated Happy Ending story for Mia:
Mia the first day we brought her home. She loved to be carried like this.
Mia loves squeaky toys, chew toys, tennis balls, treats and bones. This is the first day we brought her home
with the toy she picked out at the pet store.
Mia at 5 months old. She loves to go on walks, go to the dog park and be outside.
Mia, 8 months, loves to be in bed with us when we let her.
She loves people and other animals no matter the size or shape! Here she is gently checking out our friends' week old baby
She plays nicely with tiny dogs and is walks right up to even the biggest dogs with her tail wagging
(maybe because she was fostered with two big dobermans). When 3 cats came to stay with us, she was very
offended that they didn't want to play with her and didn't seem to understand why they didn't want to be friends.
Here she is playing with Stacey's mom's 100 lb labradoodle.
We love Mia and can't imagine our lives without her! Thank you All Dog Rescue for the amazing work that you do!
