About All Dog Rescue

On December 3rd, 2006, a small group of experienced, dedicated dog rescue volunteers gathered at Muddy Paws Cheesecake in Minneapolis, MN to discuss the startup of their new rescue organization. All Dog Rescue was born in their hearts that day, and officially "opened for business" on January 1st, 2007. In our first year of operation, we helped over 100 homeless dogs find their new forever homes!

So who are we? All Dog Rescue is a 501(c)(3), all-volunteer, foster-based, no-kill dog rescue based in Minneapolis, MN. We take in dogs from shelters, strays picked up off the streets, and animals surrendered directly from individuals who can no longer care for them. With 4 million animals being euthanized every year in shelters around the country, the numbers of dogs needing our help is endless.

Our First Adoption Event

All Dog Rescue does not have a shelter. Instead, our dogs live in temporary foster homes where they are treated as canine family members until they are adopted. We know our animals very well and can tell you about the dog's personality, whether they are housetrained, if they get along with other dogs, and what activities they enjoy. Our dogs are also seen by a veterinarian prior to adoption and are spayed/neutered, microchipped, heartworm tested, and current on all routine vaccinations. We will disclose any and all known health and behavioral issues to any potential adopters as our goal is to ensure happy dogs in appropriate forever homes, and this is best achieved with complete honesty. We have an extensive application process to make sure people adopt appropriate dogs for their homes.

We offer a life-time commitment to the dogs in our program, and they will be lovingly cared for in their foster homes until they are adopted. If an adopter of an All Dog Rescue animal ever decides not to keep the dog, we will always take the dog back into our program.
